Covid 19 – Alternative Arrangements for Toy Drop Off and Collection

Leith Toy Hospital during Covid

As per the recent advice from the Scottish government, we are in lockdown from 5th January 2021. During this time we are working from home, but we do have a member of staff in the studio during office hours to receive new patients that arrive by post.

We are asking customers not to come to the door at this time. Please see advice below, and if you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to get in touch!

Dropping off YOUR TOY

As per the recent advice of the Scottish Government, from 5th January 2021 we are closing our doors to drop-offs and collections. Instead, you can either post us in your toy (see below!), or you can wait until the advice changes and we’re able to receive customers to the door again. Do get in touch if you have any questions!

Collecting your toy

If your toy is finished and ready to come home, we can either post your toy back to you, or we can hold on to your toy until restrictions are lifted. Once your toy is finished and ready to come home, we’ll be in touch to discuss these arrangements with you.

Posting Your Toy

We receive at least half of our patients from across the UK and all over the world by post. We use Royal Mail Special Delivery which is tracked, signed for and insured and would come with your normal Postie so no need to worry about couriers leaving them in weird places! Our postage and packaging costs are £13.80 for a standard parcel within the UK, plus VAT (20%).

If you are posting your toy:

  • Please package any delicate toys carefully.
  • Please clearly label your toy with your name and contact details.
We’ll be in touch to let you know when your toy has arrived!
