By accepting our repair estimate and sending your toy for repair, you agreee to the following terms and conditions.

Terms and Conditions

Booking in your toy

A repair slot booking is only confirmed once the customer has paid a non-refundable deposit within 48 hours.
It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that Leith Toy Hospital receives their toy in the month prior to their repair slot. The slot will not be held if the toy arrives late.

If a toy arrives more than a month in advance of their slot, the customer will be charged a £25 storage fee for each month prior to the booking slot.

All estimates are provisional until we have seen the toy in person.

If the customer decides not proceed with any work once the toy is with us, the deposit will not be refunded and and the customer will be responsible for collecting the toy or paying for the return postage.

Repairing your toy

By accepting your estimate:

We will only carry out the repairs specified in the estimate. It is the customer’s responsibility to check the estimate before accepting and inform us of any required additions.

Should additional work or materials be found necessary in the course of repairs, we will obtain permission from the customer before carrying this out.

We sometimes have cats visiting the workshop – if you have a serious cat allergy, let us know so that we can make sure no cat hair comes into contact with your toy.

On completion, we will send a picture of the toy to the customer for approval. It is the customer’s responsibility to request any clarification required at this stage.
