We are a team of creative experts, who have created and repaired treasured teddies for years.

Non-jointed Memory Teddy

This kind of bear can be made from as little fabric as a single baby onesie. Its arms and legs have no joints, and it can have an embroidered face or safety nose and eyes.

Jointed Memory Teddy

This kind of bear has rotating joints for its arms, legs and head like many vintage teddy bears. It is often more densely stuffed, and looks great with little accessories like a waistcoat or ribbon!

Losing a loved one is incredibly difficult. A memory teddy can be a comfort in grief, a celebration of achievements in life, or a tangible token of remembrance.

Whether it’s a treasured blanket, a lucky football jersey, or your wedding dress – some items you just can’t give up. Don’t leave them invisible at the back of a cupboard, let us turn them into a friend that will make you smile every time you look at them!

A Bear Unique To You

We can customise your Memory Bear in many ways. From picking fabrics to choosing facial features, we want to make sure your bear is perfect for you. We can add embroidery, accessories and clothing according to your wishes.
We also offer bears made to a particular weight, like the birth weight of a baby or familiar pet weight.

Your Memory Bears can be made in two sizes, the smaller approximately 25cm tall and the larger approximately 40cm tall.

Fabrics

We can work with all kinds of fabric, from stretchy baby-grows to shirts and ties. We can also combine several items, for example making contrasting paw pads or ears.
Some fabrics are better suited than others – get in touch to discuss your options!

Features

We can customise facial features to your wishes, using plastic safety eyes and noses or adding features with embroidery or felt to make them extra child-safe. You can even pick your Memory Bear’s expression.

We also do custom embroidery of names, dates or personal messages in a variety of styles.

Accessories

Would you like your memory bear to wear granddad’s favourite tie? Or have your bear in the same waistcoat you wore at your wedding? We can create new clothes from old.

We can also install a music box in your bear, a wee heart containing a particular memento, or an accessible pocket to add ashes, treasures or any other item.

Please be aware that due to the pre-loved materials used, our Memory Bears can not be CE certified and are therefore not suitable as toys.

Depending on the fabrics you want to use, the final item may look slightly different to the examples shown – we’re committed to make you happy, so please let us know if you have any questions or concerns!

In order to provide you with the best service we’ll need to see photos of the fabric you would like turned into your custom teddy and how big you’d like the bear to be. To speed the process along you may also include the type of nose you’d like (embriodered or plastic) and the type of eyes you’d like your teddy to have (plastic or glass as well as a colour). If you’re uncertain we’ll be more than happy to advise you on what would be most suitable for your teddy.
